Embroidery vs print
Embroidery for premium, durable apparel and structured caps. Print (silk-screen or DTF) for full-colour artwork, photos, and lower per-unit cost on T-shirts and totes.
When to choose embroidery
Embroidery delivers a premium tactile finish that survives the lifetime of the garment. Best for polos, fleece, jackets, caps, beanies and bags. MOQ 25-50 pieces. Limit to 8-10 thread colours and avoid fine detail under 4mm. Higher per-unit cost but unmatched perceived value for staff uniforms and gifts.
When to choose print
Print (silk-screen or DTF) handles full-colour artwork, photos, gradients and fine detail. Lower per-unit cost. Best for T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags and events. Limit: not suitable for caps with structured fronts or thick fleece, where embroidery wins on substrate compatibility.
