Architecture — Adaptive Cards for approvals
Install via Microsoft Teams admin centre (multi-tenant Azure Bot Service registration). Adaptive Cards 1.5 render approval requests with rich data: SKU thumbnail, quantity, ship-to (defaults to Milano for Italy orders), unit price, total with IVA 22% included. Approvers click Approve / Reject inside the card; responses route via Bot Framework to our orchestrator and we update both Teams and your ERP in lockstep. SSO via Azure AD on-behalf-of token flow — no second login required.
How to wire it up — Bot for catalog search and order creation
The @corpmerch bot supports natural-language queries ("find me 500 black hoodies size M") and structured commands (/order, /track, /invoice). Conversation history retained 30 days per Teams retention policy and excluded from training. Compatible with classic Teams and the new Teams client. Available as line-of-business app or via AppSource.
Operations and edge cases — Tab apps and dashboards
Pin a Corp-Merch tab to any channel — order list, spend dashboard, invoice register filtered by SdI status. SSO via Azure AD; data scoped to your tenant. Channel-level permissions respected: a viewer cannot see prices, an editor cannot place orders. Compatible with Teams Premium for advanced analytics. Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) status surfaced as a live tile.

Yes — published as Corp-Merch for Teams. You can also sideload the manifest if your IT prefers private distribution.
SSO with Azure AD?
Single sign-on via Azure AD on-behalf-of flow. No second login; user identity is verified by Teams and forwarded to Corp-Merch.
Does it work in private channels?
Yes, on Teams Premium or Microsoft 365 E5. Standard licences support team-wide channels only.
Where is data stored?
EU region by default for Italy tenants. Conversation history within Teams is governed by your tenant retention policy and excluded from training.
How is IVA 22% reflected in approvals?
The Adaptive Card shows net, IVA 22% and gross. The invoice is issued via SdI after fulfilment and posted back as an Adaptive Card to finance.
