Standard lead times in Italy
From confirmed PO: stock SKUs 5–7 working days; print/embroidery 10–14 days; full-Pantone dye-house 21–28 days; specialty (jacquard knit, sublimation) 28–35 days. Quote-to-PO typically 1–2 days. All times door-to-door for the Italy postcode range. Rush options shave 30–50% (priority production + air freight from Milano) at +25–40% cost.
Milano hub mechanics
Milano is our primary fulfilment hub for Italy. Goods arrive from production (mostly EU + Turkey for apparel; PRC for tech), get re-bagged with your branding inserts if requested, then ship via DPD/DHL/UPS depending on the postcode. Same-day dispatch if PO accepted before 14:00 local time. Saturday dispatches available on request (+EUR 25 / shipment).
Multi-drop & complex deliveries
One PO, many drop addresses — supported via the orders endpoint (shipments[] array). Examples: 50 gift boxes to 50 home addresses for a remote team event; 200 cartons to 12 retail stores. We handle the per-drop labels, ASN to recipients (if email provided), and consolidated invoice (single line per drop or summary). Cost: EUR 1.50–4 per drop in Italy, batched.
FAQ
What about customs in EU?
Most production is EU/Turkey — no customs within EU. Imports from PRC: we clear into Milano; IVA 22% due at import (added to your invoice via SdI).
Lead time for trend Pantone?
Add 5–10 days vs standard — dye-houses lock new lots Mon/Thu, so timing matters. We'll quote the realistic date upfront.
What if delivery fails?
Carrier re-attempts 2x; 3rd attempt at depot pick-up. After 14 days unclaimed, returned to Milano (storage fee EUR 8/box/month). We re-ship at your cost or refund inventory cost.
Tracking?
Every shipment gets a tracking URL emailed at dispatch and accessible via GET /v1/shipments. SMS notifications to recipient on out-for-delivery and delivered (if phone provided).
Damaged on arrival?
Photograph at receipt, sign 'with reserves' (Italian: 'con riserva') on the POD. Email us within 48h. We re-ship at our cost for confirmed damage; carrier insurance handles the rest.
