Fifteen Italian geographies and what works in each
Fifteen geographies, from the metropolitan north to the islands, and the merchandise that fits each one.
Fifteen regional use cases are collected here, grouped by geography rather than by sector. The metropolitan case covers the large cities where the constraint is the venue and the delivery window rather than the cost. The northern industrial belt covers programmes where the production is close and the lead time can be short.
The coastline and the islands are logistics problems with a design answer. A delivery to Palermo or Cagliari takes longer and costs more, so the programme is usually built around fewer, higher value pieces rather than the same volume of inexpensive ones. The mountain and ski cases cover a season that is short and a deadline fixed by the season.
The dry south and the rural south are different from each other. A programme in a low rainfall region that includes a promotional drinkware item has a useability problem as well as a cost problem, and the page says so.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the region change the price?
It changes the delivered cost, mostly through the transport leg and the number of shipments.
Which regions have the shortest lead times?
The northern industrial belt, where the producers sit closest to the hub.
Do you deliver to the islands?
Yes, with the longer lead time the transport requires and the packaging that survives the leg.
Tell us the region and the date
Send the region, the number of pieces and the date. We reply with the delivery plan for that geography and the cost of getting it there.
