The Trento Children’s Festival — an annual event that brings together schools, theatres, companies, cultural associations, libraries, child-sector brands, toy producers, partner festivals of the European networks, editorial offices of specialised press and family audiences — is a central moment of the Northern Italian child-sector calendar, with a programme of card shows, training days for schools, calendar readings, child-sector exhibitions, traditional craft round tables and award days that crosses the theatres and spaces of the Trento circuit.
For kindergartens and primary schools bringing their classes to the festival days, theatres of the Trento circuit hosting the card shows, theatre companies and artists stepping on the programme’s stages, cultural associations and non-profits organising the training days, child-sector brands and producers of toys, books and educational materials attending the festival, libraries and reading centres accompanying the calendar’s readings, partner festivals of the child sector and delegates of European networks, editorial offices of specialised press, corporate sponsors of the event, Corp-Merch.IT manages the full programme from its Milan hub: receipt of master graphic files from the commissioning body (AI, EPS, PDF/X-4 with CMYK images at 300 dpi, FOGRA39 colour profile for print, Pantone for textiles), adaptation to the various decoration techniques (water-based screen-printing on GOTS-certified organic cotton for family-audience shoppers, hot-foil stamping on FSC-certified paper for calendar reading booklets and school educational kits, laser engraving on walnut wood for partner-festival delegate gift kits, computerised embroidery for theatre and company staff uniforms, UV printing on recycled PVC for inauguration-day passes), production on Italian supply chains (Como textiles for family-audience shoppers, Tuscan cotton for staff uniforms, Collodi wood for delegate gift kits, Fabriano paper for reading booklets, Maniago steel for staff metallic badges), AQL 2.5 quality control and delivery to the school, the theatre, the library or the festival warehouse in slots confirmed by the festival’s schedule.
For Italian clients with a VAT number, the invoice is issued through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) of the Agenzia delle Entrate at 22% VAT in EUR; reverse charge for intra-EU buyers registered in VIES, split payment for public-administration entities, recipient code or PEC for compliance notifications and electronic delivery of the invoice. For educational materials and calendar reading booklets the reduced VAT rate of 4% or 5% applies depending on the product category provided for by current legislation. For clients subject to CSRD reporting (D.Lgs. 125/2024, transposing Directive (EU) 2022/2464) we provide a sustainability scorecard per order with a Scope 3 CO₂e estimate according to the GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain on the internal routes and from the indicated supply chains, in line with ESRS E1 and E5.
Event schedule and day-by-day logistics
The April window of the Trento Children’s Festival is concentrated and must be prepared against a calendar that includes the Monday and Tuesday theatre set-up days, the Wednesday opening day, the Thursday and Friday card days and training days, the Saturday and Sunday weekend open to families, the Sunday evening final awards evening. For kindergartens and primary schools and producers of educational materials the gap between the confirmation of the event’s graphics and the opening of school registrations is normally under ten weeks, and any item that has to be at the school, the theatre, the library or the festival warehouse for the first card day must be finalised and shipped at least five working days before the inauguration. We work backwards from that moment: production closes two-to-three weeks before the inauguration; the courier slot to the Trento circuit’s venues is booked for the Tuesday or Wednesday of the week before; the addressee list (school, theatre, library, warehouse) is finalised with the event direction at least two weeks before opening; edition-specific print runs (year, edition number, card titles, company and theatre logos) only add a short reprint to an already-produced neutral graphic base.
