The Pirate Festival of Cefalù is one of the most-visited summer cultural events in Sicily and brings together, across the village streets, the seafront and the squares of the historic centre, thousands of Italian and international visitors around the calendar of evenings, historical parades, reenactments, tastings and craft markets. For restaurateurs and venue operators in the centre and along the seafront, the festival evenings are the busiest moment of the year, and the coordinated brand image becomes an integral part of the customer experience. For accommodation providers (hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, holiday rentals, residences) the festival evenings coincide with peak room occupancy, and every kit delivered to guests is an opportunity to tell the territory story. For a tour operator or incoming agency organising the packages that revolve around the calendar, it means also coordinating totes, drinkware, gifts and welcome bags for visitors arriving in Cefalù for the evenings.
From the Milan hub and the Sicilian producer network, Corp-Merch.IT coordinates the full programme for restaurants, accommodation, tour operators, artisans, typical producers and sponsors operating around the Pirate Festival Cefalù: pre-press artwork adaptation (including themed application on institutional client graphics), district producer selection (some of which Sicilian), pre-production physical sample and 48-hour response window between brief and structured proposal. The producer network gives us direct access to the districts of Como (textile), Maniago (steel mills and small hardware), Empoli (glass), Faenza (ceramics), Caltagirone (Sicilian ceramics), Santo Stefano di Camastra (Sicilian ceramics), Padova (technical cartotecnica), Capannori (Tuscan paper mills for FSC-certified paper) and Trapani (sea salt and food packaging), so most of the production can stay on the Italian supply chain and respect accommodation lead times without resorting to intercontinental transport. For limited runs and accommodation guest gifts we propose numbered bundles (50-300 pieces) with festival-themed packaging.
For restaurants and accommodation with an Italian VAT number, the invoice is issued through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) with 22% VAT (reduced rates of 4%, 5%, 10% available for the product categories that allow them, such as publishing and some typical products); reverse charge for intra-EU buyers with a valid VAT number, split payment for public administration entities and Codice Destinatario or PEC for electronic delivery. For extra-EU tour operators we can issue an invoice in EUR without Italian VAT under the applicable territorial rules, or a self-invoicing summary on request.
Logistics to Cefalù. Cefalù is a leading summer tourist destination but goods logistics has to be coordinated with the historic centre constraints (ZTL, narrow village streets) and accommodation availability. For restaurants, accommodation and tour operators the consolidated practice is to deliver the bulk of material directly to the partnered accommodation or to consolidation warehouses partnered with the festival organisation, and to keep a restock buffer within the operational team's reach for the peak weekend evenings.
