Italian Tech Week is the largest Italian week for the country's tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem and brings together, between Turin and the other calendar nodes, founders of early-stage and growth startups, scaleups at Series A and beyond, Italian and European circuit investors (business angels, venture capital, growth equity, family offices), corporate companies looking for partnerships and use cases, accelerators and incubators, universities, tech media and international speakers from the European circuit. For startups and scaleups attending with their own booth or a presentation, the week is the main opportunity to pitch, collect qualified leads and start conversations with investors that are hard to reach at other moments of the year. For a founder team it means arriving in Turin with a coordinated kit — welcome bags for investors, giveaways for the pitch audience, branded apparel for the booth team, and perhaps a limited run of personalised merchandise for closings — that becomes an integral part of the startup story.
From the Milan hub, Corp-Merch.IT coordinates the full programme for startups, scaleups, investors, corporate clients and media arriving at Italian Tech Week: pre-press artwork adaptation, district producer selection, pre-production physical sample and 48-hour response window between brief and structured proposal. The Milan base gives us direct access to the districts of Como (textile and screen printing on organic cotton), Scandicci (small leather goods), Maniago (steel mills and small hardware for tech gadgets), Agordo and Valdagno (eyewear), Murano (glass for limited editions), Empoli (glass), Faenza (ceramics), Padova (technical cartotecnica), Capannori (Tuscan paper mills for FSC-certified paper) and Prato (textile), so most of the production can stay on the Italian supply chain and respect startup lead times without resorting to intercontinental transport. For limited runs and founder welcome bags we propose numbered bundles (50-300 pieces) with attached certificate of authenticity, so every welcome bag remains traceable.
For startups and companies with an Italian VAT number, the invoice is issued through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) with 22% VAT in EUR; reverse charge for intra-EU buyers with a valid VAT number, split payment for public administration booths and Codice Destinatario or PEC for electronic delivery. For extra-EU startups we can issue an invoice in EUR without Italian VAT under the applicable territorial rules, or a self-invoicing summary on request. For scaleups subject to CSRD reporting (D.Lgs. 125/2024) we provide a sustainability sheet per PO with Scope 3 CO₂e estimates under the GHG Protocol on the intra-Lombardy and Lombardy-Piedmont legs.
Logistics to Turin. Italian Tech Week has headquarters at OGR (Officine Grandi Riparazioni), but the calendar is distributed across several city nodes (Nuvola Lavazza, Toolbox, Talent Garden) and goods delivery follows loading windows coordinated with the organiser and the Comune di Torino. For startups and scaleups the consolidated practice is to deliver the bulk of material to a Turin hotel (typically around Crocetta, San Salvario or near Porta Susa) or to a local partner's warehouse in the days before opening, and to keep a restock buffer within the operational team's reach for the peak days. Piedmontese weather in late September can be variable, so gadgets for the public — especially totes — should be packed to withstand light rain.
