Annual · Late September
For brand teams, sponsoring companies, cultural partners and corporate members preparing hospitality gifts, sponsor kits, season programmes and front-of-house apparel around the Notte Bianca Roma — city-wide night of museums, archaeological sites, concerts, theatres, bookshops and civic venues from late afternoon into the small hours.
The Notte Bianca is the city-wide night of free culture in Rome that opens museums, archaeological sites, concert halls, theatres, bookshops, libraries and civic venues from late afternoon into the small hours. The programme has been running in its current shape since the mid-2000s and is coordinated by Roma Capitale with the participation of the city's museums, civic libraries, theatres and cultural associations. The audience moves on foot across the centre and the periphery — from the Pantheon to the Auditorium Parco della Musica, from Trastevere to the Macro — which makes the night a natural occasion for brand teams, sponsoring companies and corporate members to commission their own hospitality gifts.
For brand teams, sponsoring companies and cultural partners, the merch cycle is coordinated through the sponsoring company's marketing or institutional-relations lead and through the cultural partner's communications office. Corp-Merch.IT runs the full production cycle from a Milan hub: brief collection, art adaptation, producer qualification on the named Italian districts (Scandicci leather workshops, Maniago for steel and blades, Faenza for ceramic keepsakes, Tuscan paper mills, and Roman artisan workshops for items that source from the host region), a physical pre-production sample with a Pantone colour map and debossing proof, and a structured proposal within 48 business hours of the kick-off. For programmes that mix venue staff, audience giveaways and sponsor hospitality, we split the kit into separately labelled lots and arrange delivery to a Rome hotel, sponsor office or the venue production hub the afternoon of the night.
For sponsoring companies with VAT registration, the invoice goes out in EUR at the standard 22% IVA rate, with reduced 4%, 5% and 10% brackets applied where the product category allows (books and printed paper, in particular, fall under reduced rates). The invoice is routed through the Agenzia delle Entrate's Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) to the buyer's codice destinatario or PEC address. For pubblica-amministrazione buyers (Roma Capitale, museums, libraries) the invoice is processed under split payment and the related CUP/CIG references are attached to the order.
T-shirts, polos and light layers printed with the venue mark, divided by venue and shift for front-of-house, cloakroom and security.
City-wide tote bags, paper programmes printed for the edition, slim bookmarks and printed fans for fast distribution across venues.
Branded notebooks, drinkware and small leather goods reserved for sponsor suites and reserved garden seats.
Premium notebook and pen sets, silk pocket squares, ceramic tasting cups and paper-bound season programmes for partner dinners.
Before production begins, artwork, quantities, packaging and the named on-site recipient must be locked. The exact venue hub finalises only against the current programme list close to the night — Piazza del Popolo, Trastevere and the Auditorium Parco della Musica are public spaces and cannot be used as parcel-reception addresses. Rome's ZTL (limited traffic zone) and night traffic restrictions condition courier access in the centro storico, which is why most teams combine a central Rome hotel or sponsor office with a venue pickup on the night. The cultural partner's communications office and the sponsor's marketing lead coordinate the loading slot the afternoon of the night.
For a Notte Bianca programme routed from Milan, deliveries are consolidated at the hub and dispatched to Rome with a 24–48 hour window via BRT, SDA, GLS or DHL Express, and on appointment for ZTL venues. For programmes above 1,000 pieces we offer appointment delivery with phone pre-notice and, on request, on-site set-up at the venue by our staff. For clients subject to CSRD reporting (D.Lgs. 125/2024, transposing Directive (EU) 2022/2464) we attach a sustainability data sheet per PO with Scope 3 CO₂e estimates per GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain on the Lombardy–Lazio lane, including the optional Roman artisan production districts.
All Italian B2B orders are invoiced in EUR at the standard 22% IVA rate (with reduced 4%, 5% and 10% rates where applicable by product category) and routed through the Agenzia delle Entrate's Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) to the buyer's codice destinatario or PEC address. Corp-Merch.IT is a registered Italian VAT operator, listed on VIES for intra-EU operations, and handles reverse charge, split payment and pubblica-amministrazione self-invoicing under current Italian rules.
The Notte Bianca programme brief opens with a dedicated kick-off where we collect the sponsoring company's or cultural partner's visual references, the iconography of the night's programme, the items to be quoted and the quantities per recipient (venue staff by venue and shift, audience giveaways, sponsor VIPs, partner dinners, reserved garden seats). Corp-Merch.IT responds with a structured proposal within 48 business hours, complete with a physical sample for the most critical pieces (printed T-shirts and shoppers, ceramic keepsakes, small leather accessories), technical sheets for serial items and a bill of materials with prices and MOQ by tier: starter (50–249 pieces per code), standard (250–999), enterprise (1,000–4,999), corporate (5,000+). For sponsoring companies that support multiple Roma Capitale initiatives or across the city's wider cultural calendar, we set up an annual supply contract with per-edition reviews and dedicated volume discounts.
On the artwork side we receive the sponsor's or partner's master files (AI, EPS, PDF/X-4, CMYK images at 300 dpi) and manage art adaptation for the different decoration methods: digital print on silk and cotton, screen-printing with water-based inks on apparel and shoppers, embroidery on textiles, hot stamping on leather, pad printing and laser engraving on metals for accessories, screen-printing on paper programmes and boxes. For graphics that require multiple versions (per-venue, per-shift, sponsor tiers, audience, partner dinners) we manage versioning and intermediate approvals. Physical samples are produced and shipped for approval by the fifth week of the brief; for printed Como silk, Faenza ceramics and custom small leather goods, timelines extend by one to two weeks depending on craftsmanship complexity.
Standard commercial terms are 30 days invoice date, a 10% deposit on first order for new clients, and improved terms after the first 90 days of history. The invoice is issued in EUR at 22% IVA (with the reduced 4%, 5% and 10% rates applied where the product category allows) and routed through SDI; we accept bank transfer, RIBA direct debit for Italian clients, and SEPA direct debit across the SEPA area. For pubblica-amministrazione buyers we attach CUP/CIG references and operate split payment. For international buyers inside the EU we operate the reverse charge under Article 196 of the VAT Directive; for buyers outside the EU we can issue invoices ex-VAT or with VAT refund support through the Italian VAT-refund portal.
Eight to ten weeks is the safest window for production in Italy and shipping to a Rome hotel or sponsor office. Six to seven weeks work when the product mix is simple and the artwork has been signed off. Shorter programmes are possible when stock, branding methods and venue access are all confirmed at the kick-off.
No. Both are public venues on the night and cannot be used as parcel-reception addresses. We deliver to a Rome hotel, sponsor office or production hub, with a courier slot agreed the afternoon of the night. The cultural partner's communications office or the sponsor's marketing lead coordinates the venue pickup on the evening of the Notte Bianca.
Yes. Venue staff, audience giveaways and sponsor hospitality can be packed and labelled as separate lots, with different delivery addresses if needed. We keep a per-recipient packing list so the sponsor can distribute by venue on the night.
No. Corp-Merch.IT is an independent external B2B supplier that helps brand teams, sponsoring companies and cultural partners prepare their own merch around the night. It does not organise, sponsor or represent the Notte Bianca, Roma Capitale or any of the participating venues.
For sponsoring companies and cultural partners presenting a Notte Bianca merch programme, coherence between visual identity and raw materials is integral to the offering. We work with Italian producers operating under ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and SA8000 or equivalent for social responsibility, and holding the main product certifications required by the segment: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on skin-contact textiles (cotton for T-shirts and shoppers, Como silk for pocket squares), GOTS on organic cotton, GRS on recycled polyester, FSC on paper and packaging (programmes, labels, fans, boxes), EU Ecolabel on a range of textile and stationery items.
For Faenza ceramics and Roman artisan ceramics the producer keeps the Italian origin certificate and can attach a conformity declaration under the Italian Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code (D.Lgs. 42/2004) for any object that incorporates protected iconography. For small leather goods from Scandicci workshops the producer can issue leather traceability, tannery origin (Italian / European / extra-EU), and REACH compliance (Reg. CE 1907/2006) with an updated SVHC declaration. On the packaging side, paper-product manufacturers offer FSC or PEFC options and, on request, plastic-free with vegetable-based inks.
For clients subject to CSRD reporting (D.Lgs. 125/2024) we integrate into the PO a sustainability data sheet with Scope 3 CO₂e estimate per GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain, broken down by material (cotton, silk, leather, ceramic, paper) and by logistics lane (Como–Milan–Rome, Maniago–Milan–Rome, Faenza–Milan–Rome, Scandicci–Milan–Rome), plus ESRS E1 (Climate Change), E5 (Resource Use) and S2 (Workers in the Value Chain) references for the client's sustainability balance sheet. On request we also include packaging-waste reporting submitted to CONAI for post-consumer material traceability.
