Milan Fashion Week Women is one of the most important appointments on the international fashion calendar and brings together twice a year, in February-March and in September-October, the Italian and international fashion ecosystem around the runway and presentation calendar coordinated by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. For maisons, ateliers, tailoring houses and Milan showrooms, the week is the occasion to present the collections, host international buyers from the European circuit and collect orders for the season. For buyers from the department store, multi-brand boutique and luxury e-commerce circuit, the week is the moment to confirm orders for the season and evaluate collections in showroom. For a brand that participates with a runway show, a presentation or a showroom, it means arriving in Milan with a coordinated merch programme — buyer gifts for the showroom floors, press welcome kits for invited editorial teams, uniforms for the runway and presentation team, limited editions for closings, coordinated packaging for end customer gift boxes — that becomes an integral part of the brand experience.
From the Milan hub, Corp-Merch.IT coordinates the full programme for fashion brands, maisons, ateliers, showrooms, buyers, press and sponsors arriving at Milan Fashion Week Women: pre-press artwork adaptation, district producer selection (some of which serve the Quadrilatero della Moda maisons directly), pre-production physical sample and 48-hour response window between brief and structured proposal. The Milan base gives us direct access to the districts of Como (textile and silk), Scandicci (leather and small leather goods), Maniago (steel mills and small hardware), Agordo and Valdagno (eyewear), Murano (glass for limited editions), Empoli (glass), Faenza (ceramics), Padova (technical cartotecnica), Capannori (Tuscan paper mills for FSC-certified paper), Vigevano (footwear) and Corridonia-Macerata (high-end footwear), so most of the production can stay on the Italian supply chain and respect brand lead times without resorting to intercontinental transport. For limited runs and buyer gifts we propose numbered bundles (50-300 pieces) with attached certificate, so every gift remains traceable.
For brands and maisons with an Italian VAT number, the invoice is issued through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) with 22% VAT in EUR; reverse charge for intra-EU buyers with a valid VAT number, split payment for public administration booths and Codice Destinatario or PEC for electronic delivery. For extra-EU buyers we can issue an invoice in EUR without Italian VAT under the applicable territorial rules, or a self-invoicing summary on request. For maisons subject to CSRD reporting (D.Lgs. 125/2024) we provide a sustainability sheet per PO with Scope 3 CO₂e estimates under the GHG Protocol on intra-regional legs.
Logistics to the Quadrilatero della Moda. Milan Fashion Week Women has headquarters at the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana in Via Gerolamo Morone 6, but the calendar is distributed across several city nodes (maison venues in the Quadrilatero della Moda, showrooms, Fieramilanocity Rho) and goods delivery follows loading windows coordinated with the Comune di Milano and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. For brands the consolidated practice is to deliver the bulk of material to the showroom itself, a Milan hotel (typically around Brera, San Babila or near Via Montenapoleone) or a nearby consolidation warehouse in the days before opening, and to keep a restock buffer within the operational team's reach for the peak days.
